Attending Victorian Defence and Space Network Industry Preparation Day

With Avalon Airshow 2025 to be held from 25-30 March, and in keeping with past practice, the Victorian Defence and Space Network (VDSN) held an Industry Preparation Day for this event on Wednesday 12 February at the Investment Centre Victoria in the CBD.

The event MC was Regina Crameri the Victorian Defence Industry Advocate and introductory remarks were made by Colin Brooks MP, the Minister for Industry and Advanced Manufacturing.

The agenda included briefings from the event organisers at AMDA Foundation Limited and speakers from the Victorian Government, Office of Defence Industry Support (ODIS), Defence Science Institute (DSI), and Australian Industry & Defence Network Victoria (AIDN VIC) who provided key insights on the event itself, who will be coming and how attendees can maximise participation and opportunities at the Avalon Airshow 2025.

The event was well attended by industry representatives who appreciated the advice provided which included practical tips such as ‘ the Airshow site is larger than you expect…wear comfortable shoes…noting they will be dusty by the end of the week.’

Our Managing Director, Steven Holloway, who was in attendance, found the event useful in assessing the value of attending the Airshow next month and participating in the networking events that occur throughout the week.
