Reconnecting with former work colleagues

Last month was a busy time with several networking events to kick off the new year which included those hosted by the Melbourne Business Network, Defence Industry Network and the Victoria Defence and Space Network.

One event of note was the PwC Alumni Network event, its first since COVID. The Alumni Network is open to all partners and staff who have six months of service or more at PwC Australia, Strategy& (formerly Booz & Company) or legacy PwC firms.

This event was held in late February on a delightful summer evening up on the Melbourne PwC office terrace. It was well attended by the various alumni cohorts, PwC partners and PwC team members with Martine Ballantyne, Senior Manager Strategic Relationship Marketing posting that it ‘…provided the perfect background for a night of reconnection, wine tasting and sharing of fond memories. There were smiles all around the room and plenty of laughter.’

For our Managing Director Steven Holloway, it provided an opportunity to catch up with former Booz & Company colleagues,  pictured below with Branko Panich and Marc Van Beek. As well as Simon Gillies who was the Managing Partner during Steven’s tenure at Booz’s Melbourne office.

Steven commented ‘It was great to see my former colleagues after quite a few years and hear their stories on life after being at Booz.’
